Following Jesus (Part 2): Following the Shepherd

In John 10, Jesus calls Himself the Good Shepherd, revealing His deep care for His followers and His willingness to lay down His life for them. Just as a shepherd knows his sheep and calls them by name, Jesus knows us personally, and His sheep recognize and follow His voice (John 10:27). Following Jesus requires us to listen, discern His voice, and trust Him to lead us into abundant life. Psalm 23 reminds us that our Shepherd guides and restores our souls, offering peace and renewal. As we follow Jesus, the Lamb who is also our Shepherd (Revelation 7:17), He leads us to living water, a life of true fulfillment and intimacy with God.
