Colossians (Week 3): Reconciled
This weekend, Pastor Tom Pound continued our series in Colossians by teaching from Colossians 1:15-23, highlighting Jesus as the supreme One over all creation. He reminded us that Christ not only holds all things together but also reconciles all things to God through His blood shed on the cross. Pastor Tom unpacked the deeper Greek meaning of “reconciliation,” showing that God’s work through Christ restores us once and for all to friendship and harmony with Him. He also challenged us to see ourselves as God does—holy, without blemish, and free from accusation—and to let that reality transform our lives. Finally, he encouraged us to keep our faith rooted and steadfast, seeking Christ first above all else as evidence of true reconciliation and an ongoing relationship with God.
