Core Values(Part 5): Mission-Minded and Effective Service

This weekend, we continued our sermon series on the Core Values of our church, focusing on being Mission-Minded and practicing Effective Service. We examined Luke 9:52-55, where Jesus rebuked His disciples for losing sight of His mission, reminding us that He came to save, not to destroy. Our mission as a church is to Love, Live, and Lead like Jesus, staying focused on knowing God and making Him known. We also explored the importance of serving others, recognizing that true fulfillment comes from using our God-given gifts to help those around us. By identifying and applying our spiritual gifts, we can ensure that our service is active and effective in advancing Christ’s mission.
